After arriving in Rome and dropping your belongings off at the hotel, it is time to explore this intriguing city. 

Day 1: Exploring Ancient Rome

Tip: Italian restaurants don't do a kid's menu and instead offer smaller versions of the menu items for kids. 

Afternoon: Finish the day by exploring the Vatican Museums, especially the Sistine Chapel. It is a must-see for any visitor to Rome and you should book your tickets in advance in order to skip the lines. 

Day 3: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Gelato Galore

Morning: Enjoy your last day at one of the must-see places for families in Rome, the Trevi Fountain, and let the kids throw a coin into the fountain. Tradition dictates you must throw the coin over your left shoulder to ensure that you one day return to Rome.

Lunch: Italians are known for their excellent cured meats, salami, and cheeses, and All'Antico Vinaio, is known for making amazing sandwiches. The lines can be long however the sandwiches include the finest Italian ingredients such as Italian porchetta.
