The Ultimate Kenya and Tanzania Itinerary: Exploring the Best of East Africa"

Kilimanjaro

Climbing Kilimanjaro is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It's easy to see why this expedition is at the top of bucket lists all over the world. Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain, rising 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), and the world's highest free-standing mountain. Though many of the mountain's routes are tough for the faint of heart, you don't need to be an expert climber to reach its peak with an experienced guide by your side.

How to get there

You can travel to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania and then arrange ground transportation to your starting site. Alternatively, you can drive to Moshi, the primary entry point to the mountain. It is critical to plan ahead of time and hire a licensed tour operator for your climb.

Accomodation

Hotels and motels in Moshi and Arusha, mountain huts along the routes, and camping at designated campsites are all alternatives for lodging around Mount Kilimanjaro. Hotels and lodges provide pleasant accommodations for both pre- and post-climb stays. Mountain huts give minimal shelter and common conveniences, whilst camping provides an exciting, close-to-nature experience. Booking ahead of time is advised to ensure availability, especially during peak climbing seasons.

Nairobi, Kenya

In the bustling capital city of Nairobi, you will be presented to the mind blowing differences of East Africa's wildlife. Exploring Nairobi National Park is a one of a kind asylum where you'll be able spot rhinos, lions, and giraffes against the background of a cityscape. Visit the David Sheldrick Natural life Believe, where orphaned elephants are cared for and restored. Do not miss the opportunity to inundate yourself within the world of Karen Blixen at her previous domestic, presently the Karen Blixen Gallery

How to get there

You have to take Matatu Route 24 to go to Nairobi National Park by bus. From Kenya Bus Station/BS, Mfangano Street, or Kencom House Moi Avenue, take a bus or matatu. The driving distance between Nairobi and the Park is 15 kilometers, and the trip takes about 30 minutes.

Accommodation

As part of your Kenya game trip, staying in Nairobi National Park is an amazing experience. Nairobi Tented Camp is the sole lodging within the park, and this Tier 2 tented camp is reminiscent of those used by early Kenyan explorers. With only eight guest tents, the camp provides a sense of being in the distant African bush while yet providing all of the required amenities, such as a full bathroom with bucket shower, private veranda, comfy bed, and much more, all set amidst its unique environment.

The Masai Mara is one of Africa's most well-known and popular wildlife reserves. It is the site of the Great Migration, which brings millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara. This migration also brings a slew of predators, making for some unforgettable game viewing.
